Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect little, we never sell it, and you can delete it anytime.
What we collect
Your name and email when you sign up, the boards and assets you choose, and basic usage data (like which pages you open) to keep TickPane fast and reliable. We do not collect your bank or brokerage logins.
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash), your preferences (currency, language, notifications) and, if you turn it on, your two-step sign-in settings.
- Your investments and boards: the assets and amounts you add, your boards, price alerts and settings, so your screen looks the same on every device.
- Billing details: your plan, billing history, and your card’s brand, last four digits and expiry date. The full card number is handled by our payment partner, never by us.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and basic logs (for example sign-in times) that we need to keep the service secure and working.
We don’t knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and TickPane is not meant for anyone under 18.
How we use it
To run your account, show your boards, send the emails you asked for, improve the product and keep it secure. We never sell your personal data.
- Providing the service: signing you in, saving your boards and managing your plan — we need this to deliver what you signed up for.
- Emails: account and billing emails you need, plus optional ones like the weekly summary, product news or the Premium morning brief. You can switch optional emails off in your account or with the unsubscribe link in every one of them.
- Improving TickPane: understanding which features are used so we can make them better, using combined, non-identifying data wherever we can.
- Security and legal duties: preventing fraud and abuse, and meeting our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
AI Advisor signals are calculated from market prices, not from your personal details. We don’t use your data to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment partner, Stripe, which processes your card details under its own security standards; TickPane never stores your full card number.
We receive only what we need to manage your plan: whether a payment succeeded, the amount, your card’s brand, last four digits and expiry date, and your billing country. Stripe’s own privacy policy explains how it handles your data.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. We don’t use analytics cookies today; if we ever add them, we’ll ask for your consent first.
- Essential: one secure sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. The site can’t work without it.
- On your device: your light or dark theme (and, before you sign up, your boards and investments) are saved in your browser’s local storage, so the page opens instantly.
- Analytics: off unless you agree. If we add analytics, we’ll ask first, and you can change your mind at any time.
We don’t use advertising cookies and we don’t let ad networks track you on TickPane. The Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use.
Who we share with
Only with service providers that help us run TickPane (hosting, email, payments, market data), under contracts that protect your data.
- Hosting and database: to run the website and store your account.
- Email delivery: to send the messages you asked for.
- Payments: our payment partner, Stripe, to process subscriptions.
- Market data and AI: we request prices and may use AI models to help write market summaries. These requests contain ticker symbols and market data, never your personal details.
Some providers may process data outside the UAE. When they do, we rely on contracts and safeguards required by applicable law. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our users or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business — in which case this policy keeps applying to your data.
Keeping it safe: we use encrypted connections, store passwords only as strong one-way hashes, offer two-step sign-in and limit staff access to what each role needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your account, or by emailing us. We follow applicable data protection laws, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
You can also:
- object to, or ask us to limit, certain uses of your data;
- withdraw your consent for optional emails or analytics at any time;
- ask for a copy of your data in a common, machine-readable format;
- complain to the data protection authority where you live (in the UAE, the UAE Data Office).
We reply to requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm it’s really you first.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
- Billing records (invoices and payments) are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require — usually five years.
- Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up.
- Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.
- Unsubscribes: if you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so you don’t hear from us again.

Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and TickPane (“we”, “us”), operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using tickpane.com, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use TickPane.
What TickPane is
TickPane is a market dashboard. It shows prices, charts and educational signals from our AI Advisor for the assets you choose.
We are not a broker, bank or investment adviser. You can’t buy or sell anything through TickPane, and we never hold your money or your investments.
We keep improving the product, so features may change. We’ll tell you in advance about changes that meaningfully reduce what your paid plan includes.
Not financial advice
Everything on TickPane is for information and education only. Signals, scores, AI ideas, buy & sell zones, buy-near prices, emails and articles come from past market data and rules or AI models. They are not personal recommendations and don’t take your finances, goals or risk tolerance into account.
Markets are risky and past performance does not guarantee future results. You are responsible for your own investment decisions. Consider speaking to a licensed financial adviser before you invest.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use TickPane.
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password safe and turn on two-step sign-in if you can. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person — please don’t share it.
- Tell us right away at support@tickpane.com if you think someone else has access.
Plans, trials and billing
- Free stays free, with the limits shown on the Pricing page.
- Paid plans (Pro and Premium) are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Free trials: new subscribers may get a free trial. We remind you by email before it ends. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged.
- Cancelling: cancel anytime from your account. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails we may try again, and if it keeps failing your account moves to Free.
- Price changes: we’ll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your renewal, so you can cancel first.
- Taxes: prices may include or be subject to VAT or other taxes where the law requires.
Refunds
If you’re not happy with your first payment for a plan, email us within 14 days of that payment and we’ll refund it in full. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise — but you can always cancel to stop future charges.
Market data
Prices and other market data come from third-party providers and are shown live, as we receive them, on every plan. They can occasionally be incomplete or wrong, and some exchanges publish their data a little late under their own rules. Please don’t rely on TickPane as your only source when you make a trade.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- copy, resell or redistribute our data, signals or content, or use them to build a competing service;
- scrape, crawl or overload the service, or access it other than through our apps and published API;
- try to break our security, probe for weaknesses or access other people’s accounts;
- use TickPane for anything illegal, misleading or harmful.
API access on Premium is for your own use and subject to reasonable limits.
Our content and yours
TickPane’s software, design, logo, articles and signals belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while you follow these terms.
Your boards and settings are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run TickPane for you. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep TickPane accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses or for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspending or closing accounts
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, don’t pay, or put the service or other users at risk. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll warn you first and explain why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Dubai, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as TickPane grows. For important changes, we’ll let you know by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using TickPane after that, you accept the new terms.
Cookie Policy
Which cookies TickPane uses, and why. The short version: only the ones that keep the site working.
Essential cookies
Keep you signed in and your account safe. The site can’t work without them, so they can’t be switched off. Every one of them is secure and can’t be read by scripts on the page.
- Sign-in: keeps you logged in until you log out or the session ends.
- Sign-in steps: short-lived cookies (about 10 minutes) used only while you finish two-step sign-in or sign in with Google or Apple.
- Known device: remembers a browser you’ve used before, so we can warn you about sign-ins from somewhere new.
Your settings
Your light or dark theme — and, before you create an account, the boards and investments you add — are saved in your browser’s local storage, not in cookies. They never leave your device unless you sign up and choose to keep them.
Analytics
We don’t use analytics cookies today. If we add them to understand which features are used, we’ll ask first — and you can turn them off at any time.
No ad tracking
We don’t use advertising cookies, we don’t show ads, and we don’t let ad networks track you on TickPane.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; if you clear the sign-in cookie you’ll simply be logged out. Questions? Email privacy@tickpane.com.
